What is Onychomycosis (Fungal toenails)?
Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the toenails that can cause the nails to thicken, change color, or lift from the nail bed. It often affects the big toe and can cause pain, discomfort, or difficulty wearing shoes.
Common Symptoms
Thickened or brittle nails
Yellow, brown, or white nail discoloration
Crumbling edges or distorted nail shape
Pain or discomfort in severe cases
Foul odour in some cases

Nail trauma or previous nail damage
Warm, moist environments (sweaty shoes, public pools, or showers)
Poor foot hygiene
Wearing tight or non-breathable footwear
